By the year 2050 the idea of extreme involuntary poverty can be something children learn about in history books.
People were created to live in dignity and prosperity. It should be considered normal for a person to have the expectation to have a decent job, and be part of a functioning economic system that allows them to create security and future hope for themselves, their children, and other dependents.
One of the single biggest indicators of any region’s economic prosperity is their formal employment rate. Five to Fifty (5-2-50) was created to directly impact this indicator by generating growth focused on driving employment whilst simultaneously driving sustainable growth in profits and organizational capability.
We do this through helping small businesses of about 5-10 employees, who have been in existence for at least 3 years, to grow to 50 employees in no more than five years, through a combination of investment and skills development.
Our vision at 5-2-50 (pronounced Five To Fifty) is to eradicate poverty through ensuring that there is a good job available to every woman and man on earth who is able and willing to work.
